Walked another hundred miles or more today, along with a bus tour of the "city" which besides going to the last Shogun of Japan's garden

was 3 stops in shopping areas.  I mean really!  Did have a nice boat excursion up the Sumida river from Tokyo Harbor

Thought I was in Malaysia for a moment

I visited the electronics market in Akihabara which contains over 250 stores- fascinating place. I only visited about half and then was running out of steam as it is still hot and humid.Did have one experience which took me back- pornanime. I am not a prude by any stretch but I did find it rather disturbing and creepy.But I am not judging, just saying.

I also got to experience the Tokyo subway system which even at 7:00pm is still extremely crowded, but as I am finding out about Tokyo it was very well organized. Every major hub station has a map of all the stop prices clearly marked, just press in the number for your destination: insert the money and out pops the ticket. All the station stops are clearly announced in both Japanese and English and they even tell you which side of the train the doors will be opening. Well done.
