Storm Clouds brewing

In the Banning,CA Starbucks watching the rain clouds climb the east side of the mountains. Very impressive! I can say with confidence that this is my last ride through the desert until the fall. Damn is it hot.

Iced Tea is hitting the spot and a/c at Chiriaco Summit feels real good after the last 100 miles in 100 degree air temps.

Damn Jackrabbits.... The little guy got to the middle of the road and panicked.

Left PHX at 5:45am with the temp already pushing 90. Going through Wickenburg and the temps are much better in the low 80's. Scenic ride.

Chewbacca is not as impressive when I am taller than him

He fog/marine layer needs to burn off. Spoiling he view, plus it needs to warm up some.

Riding from Long Beach to Santa Barbara this morning, the marine layer is keeping the temp down. Stopping in Santa Monica for an espresso.

Just saw a pod of dolphins swimming in Alamitos bay going under the 2nd St bridge

Heading out on the road with Dad, driving back home to SoCal.

A light snow continues to fall in Telluride. The town itself has a nice charm to it.

I will definitely not make a habit of sitting outside in 32 degrees F drinking a Guinness with snow falling on me. Although the heaters did help, it is still 32deg! It certainly seemed like the beer was colder at the end than it was when it was served. Maybe the ice crystals forming on the top was an indication.

At the Four Corners- very cool. Nice to be here during the off season. Very quiet

Have cell service again! Stopped snowing, but skies are still ominous.

20 miles south of Flagstaff and first snow sighting. Temp down to 32degrees F. Glad this is a car trip.

Riding north on the PCH on a beautiful day. Just went through Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan beaches.
